The challenge

Exsus required a digital partner to help effectively launch their much-anticipated North America holiday offerings, and improve Exsus' brand visibility, both within organic search and through earned media coverage.

The Solution

Shout collaborated with the brand to create an interactive experience that engaged customers before, during and after their trip.

Through our research on California's coastline, and Highway One, the world's most famous road trip routes - we were able to create an effective and engaging interactive experience to be showcased on Exsus' website.

The interactive, animated site allowed visitors to take a trip along the route via the website, highlighting places of interest and recommended stop-offs.

To ensure maximum exposure of the Highway One page, Shout undertook a blogger outreach campaign and social media influencer programme, which was integral to the success of the launch.

The result

For Google searches on 'Highway One', the Exsus Highway One page remains outranked only by California's official tourism organisation, and Wikipedia's entry for Highway One.

Exsus enjoyed a 95% increase in enquiries from organic search following the launch of the site and subsequent blogger and social outreach.
